Huron High School senior Justin Krull greatly assisted the Public Broadcasting online scoreboard presentation of the state AA girls basketball championships. A newspaper student, Krull ran the online scoreboard during Thursday's games. Krull said, "Working with SDPB has been fun because it is interesting to see how the clock can be displayed on the internet. I also like being able to see the clocks from the other games around the state."

Mitchell chicks, Kyli VanWyhe, Jessica Keller, Jessica Livesay and baby biker Makenzi Reid, show serious "biker babe" spirit. Tomorrow- "Diva/Rapper" day.

Game 2: Sioux Falls Roosevelt over Brandon Valley 75 - 46

Brandon Valley's #41, Nicole Johnson, missed the attempt but was fouled on the play.
SF Roosevelt Cheerleaders:Emily Heron, Jenni Dibbert, Jessica Kerher, April Wichman, Sally Peterson, Kellie Learch, Andrea Bernhard & Tory Trobak.
Brandon Valley Cheerleaders: Ashlee Anderson-Daniels, Megan Erickson, Trisha Wensing, Kendra Maxwell and Jessica Knudtson.
Brandon Valley Seniors Ryan Konz & Bruce Anliker are "super fans." The two sport their girls' warm-up shirts along with some funky hair. 
Juniors Travis Kaiser & Nate Ovenden display the SF Roosevelt "patriotic" theme for the day. The two dipped into the craft paint to show their spirit. The Rough Riders plan for a little camo action for tomorrow's "Army day" while Saturday will bring on some school color attire.

Game 1: Aberdeen Central over Yankton 43 - 41

Eagles' #23 went 1 for 2 from the line to tie the score 41-41.
The shot, by #23 Laura Legge, misses with 29 seconds to play, but Legge is sent to the line.
Gazelles' coach Doug Pesicka here at the state tournament for the 9th time in his 10 seasons as head coach. Yankton won in 1996. 
The Aberdeen Central Cheerleaders: Nicole Mann, Jessica Markley, Sally Johnston, Brittney Lout, Stacy Loterbauer and Kayla Goreham
Aberdeen fans anxiously await the start of the 2nd half.
Yankton cheerleaders: Samantha King, Andrew Schmidt, Kaylynn Otterman, Jenny Lucht, Laura Jenks, Annie Dimmer & Katie Becker.
Yankton fans Mitch Hanson, Jake Christensen and Zack Bowen show some style in their tye-dyes and bandanas which were sold as part of an economics project for school. The shirts went for $15 and the head gear brought $5.
