In match 108 in the heavy weight class, Randy Peck from Dakota Valley takes on Andrew Fergen from Parkston.
Parker Pheasant Tyler Rand with a 38-8 record, takes the match over Chester Flyer, AJ Rentschler,25-14.
Referee Jerry Hirschoff ends that match, Rand over Rentschler in the heavy weight division.

In match 84, Bryan Jorgenson, a senior from Del Rapid said, "I took him (Shain Odell from Harding Co.) down, then turned and pinned him." Jorgensen a senior, said he plans to wrestle in college but is not sure where. "I'll go where ever I get the best deal," added Jorgensen
Rapid Cheerleader Angie Peterson, a junior, has also cheered for boys' and girls' basketball and football. She likes girls' basketball and wrestling the best because "the parents really show a lot a support."

Brent Belkham (in blue) from Flandreau takes on gettysburg's Casey Lehman.
Belkham from Flandreau had shoulder surgery last spring and reinjured it before districts. "It has been kind of a battle to get to state," said Belkham who took the round against Lehman from Gettysburg in a fall time of 2:50.
