Falls Activity Director Mark Meile. |
State Runner-Up
Sioux Falls Washington finished with a
648, just 5 strokes behind SF O'Gorman. Washington Coach Eric Smith said,
"I'm really proud of how they stuck
together all year. They had great senior
leadership. It just goes to show what a
lot of hard work and dedication can
do." Next year will be a rebuilding year for
the Warriors. "We've got some talent coming
up, but they have little experience,"
added Smith. |

The
ninth hole humbled David Hoffman of Sturgis who
spent a little longer than anticipated at this
green. On in two shots, the third time on the
green proved
the charm as Hoffman finally sent the ball home
and scratched down a 6 on the par 4. Here,on his
second attempt, the ball veered right and rolled back to his
feet. Hoffman would not be denied on his next
shot. |
Sioux Falls Lincoln's Barry Reuwsaat followed Hoffman and
checked the ball placement and the green more
than twice hoping to better Hoffman's performance.
Reuwsaat still left the 9th green with a
6. Both Hoffman(left) and Reuwsaat were visibly
shaken.

Josh Goettsch from SF Washington
tees off on the 10 hole (par 3). Goettsch posted
a 37 on the first nine holes played today just
shy of Jonathon Hewitt of SF O'Gorman who shot a
36 on the front 9. |

his ace was lost later in the water hazard on
